Bangkok and beach itineraries for two

Start with the length that fits you. These are unpriced planning ideas, not confirmed packages. Flights, stays, transfers, weather and availability decide the final plan. Days include arrival and departure. Experiences are optional and subject to suitability and the final quote.

5 days / 4 nights

Krabi, one beach base

Krabi 4

See the day-by-day idea
  1. Day 1: Arrive and settle into your Krabi stay. Keep the evening easy.
  2. Day 2: Consider Railay and its coastal scenery, with time left for two.
  3. Day 3: An optional island outing, such as Ko Poda, if boat services and conditions are suitable.
  4. Day 4: Enjoy the stay or choose one local outing, with an unhurried dinner.
  5. Day 5: Check out and transfer around the confirmed departure flight.

Fewer moves for a short couple escape. No automatic private boat or included island tour.

7 days / 6 nights

Bangkok and Krabi

Bangkok 2 + Krabi 4

See the day-by-day idea
  1. Day 1: Arrive in Bangkok and settle in.
  2. Day 2: Choose a cultural stop, such as Wat Arun, and leave time for riverside dining.
  3. Day 3: Travel to Krabi on the confirmed connection. Keep the rest of the day light.
  4. Day 4: Consider a Railay outing if access and conditions suit.
  5. Day 5: Optional island outing, with the route set by operating conditions.
  6. Day 6: A slower stay day or one chosen local experience.
  7. Day 7: Check out and transfer around the confirmed flight.

City then coast, with the connection given its own day. No assumption of a nonstop service.

9 days / 8 nights

City and coast, less rushed

Bangkok 3 + Krabi 5

See the day-by-day idea
  1. Day 1: Arrive in Bangkok.
  2. Day 2: One cultural area and an unhurried evening together.
  3. Day 3: A flexible city day for food, shopping or another chosen stop.
  4. Day 4: Travel to Krabi on the confirmed connection.
  5. Day 5: Consider Railay and leave time for the stay.
  6. Day 6: Optional Ko Poda or another operating island route.
  7. Day 7: A full day with fewer plans, by the stay or locally suitable beach.
  8. Day 8: One optional local experience, or another slow day.
  9. Day 9: Check out and transfer around departure.

Two bases, not a rushed Phuket/Krabi/Bangkok checklist.

Coastal access and boat trips depend on weather and operating conditions. Temple visits require local dress/behaviour rules. Check the chosen coast for your travel month rather than one “Thailand season”.

Good to know

Thailand, answered

Is Thailand good for a honeymoon?

Excellent - beautiful resorts at friendly prices, short flights from India, and a mix of beach days and city nights that suits almost every couple.

Phuket or Krabi for couples?

Krabi is quieter and more dramatic; Phuket has more dining and nightlife. Many couples do both - we plan the split around your pace.

When is the best time to visit Thailand?

November to March for the Andaman coast. For a monsoon-window trip, Koh Samui on the Gulf side works from February to August.

Do Indians need a visa for Thailand?

Thailand currently allows visa-free entry for Indian passport holders for up to 30 days (as updated by the Royal Thai Embassy, New Delhi, from 15 September 2026, until further notice). Carry return tickets and stay details; we reconfirm the rule before you travel.
